Nominating a Charity
Only current members may nominate SLO County charities. Be sure your charity is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization. If you're not sure, check its website or ask them.
During our fall donation drive, nomination forms and votes are submitted by email.
During our spring in-person meetings, three randomly chosen members make simple, informal, 5 minute presentations.
Nomination Suggestions
1. What is the name of the organization and where is it located?
2. What is the mission of the organization?
3. What does it do? How? Who and how many does it serve?
4. How would this organization benefit from our donation? How would the funds be used?
5. Who is responsible for the use of funds?
